Starter Xmas 2024
Warmed red onion tart with melting brie and cranberry compote.
Champagne & Chicken liver pate with juniper & grape chutney on a stone griddled crouton with a roasted shallot coulis.
Poached pear and gorgonzola crostini served with a little wholegrain mustard and an olive oil and port reduction.
Chilled fruit juice Apple, orange, grapefruit, tomato or cranberry.
Cream of carrot and coriander soup. * (Gluten free)
Main Course Xmas 2024
Roast turkey with cranberry and walnut stuffing creamy bread sauce, chipolata sausage & bacon roll with fresh sprigs of rosemary and fine port gravy.
Fillet of trout with pan fried leeks and smoked bacon *(Gluten free) served with a chervil and chive dressing.
Beef in beer with drunken prunes A delicious casserole of braising steak slowly cooked in stout and port with marinated prunes, bacon, celery and shallots.
Vegetable, mushroom and Caerphilly cheese Christmas parcel drizzled with a blackcurrant vinaigrette.
Dessert Xmas 2024
Steamed Christmas plum pudding with navy rum sauce.
Black cherry cheesecake with crunchy amaretto base served with an Abergavenny black mountain coulis.
Eton mess *(Gluten free) Crushed meringue with fresh dairy cream, raspberries, peaches and maple syrup
