New Years Eve Menu

Starter New Year

Roast Pumpkin Soup with herb croutons.
Chilled fruit juice Orange – grapefruit- tomato and cranberry.
Trio of Welsh rarebit canapés Welsh tin tern and herb, black pudding and chorizo, ham with tomato.
Waldorf Salad A classic salad of apples, celery, grapes and walnuts in a creamy mayonnaise.
Beer battered haggis with pan fried leeks in a whisky cream sauce

Main Course New Year

Honey glazed butternut squash risotto served with a garnish of roasted vegetables.
Sausage with spiced wine and apples our special recipe sausages, poached in white wine and then browned in butter and served with slices of apple, cinnamon and shallots.
Pan seared fillet of Salmon with a pesto linguine and grilled courgette.
Plump breast of chicken wrapped in bacon served with a smoked cheese and mushroom veloute.

The above dishes are served with Chefs selection of vegetables and potatoes of the day.

Dessert New Year

A selection of Welsh & Continental Cheeses.
Rasperry Cranachan with sweetened cream cheese.
Pineapple fritters with apricot coulis and vanilla ice cream.
Luxury bread and butter pudding served with custard sauce.
Selection of ice creams (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry)

Freshly Filtered Coffee or Tea served in the Cafe’ Bar.
